The  Ocerico D Litter celebrated their fifth week on January 28th after an eventful weekend.  Their mother, Fouji, became ill on Saturday and was admitted to the veterinary hospital early Monday morning in very bad shape. Thanks to the wonderful Dr. Cindy Hooper, she came through an abdominal surgery to remove several strips of her dog bed that she had eaten.  She is home now and doing well, and her little ones are glad to see their mom again. The puppies are extremely active now and starting to look like little Sloughis.  It won’t be long now until they leave us for their forever homes, which is always bittersweet for us.
