Dune des Sources de l’Oum-er-Rbia CM

Dune was an extremely special, once in a lifetime dog, and he was my best friend. He was our first Moroccan import, from my dear and long time friend, Mohammed Soujaa, Dune’s breeder, who passed away in 2023. I will be forever grateful to Soujaa for sending this precious boy straight from the Moroccan desert to us. Dune hailed from a long line of Sloughis used in the traditional hunting of jackals, foxes, gazelles and hares in the Sahara.  He had beautiful type, exceptional gaits, a gorgeous head, and a wonderful, loving disposition.  Dune is the only Sloughi in US history to have won the National Specialty three times.

Considerate to the end, Dune left us in his sleep one night and leaves behind a void that can never be filled.
